NetFoneBrasil is a telephony service that uses the VOIP technology, allowing you to place and receive phone calls, through your high-speed or broadband Internet connection, using a common telephone equipment. 
This service works independently of your computer, therefore you don't need to have a computer or  access it, to use the services provided by NetFoneBrasil.
 
The VoIP technology - Voice Over IP
 
The voice is digitalized (transformed in data) that are passed through packages among each telephone IP. The VoIP technology uses the change of packages with enormous advantages on the conventional telephony. For instance, the change of packages makes possible that several phone calls, occupy the space occupied before for only one call of the conventional network.
The quality of the conversation through the telephony IP depends on the speed of your internet access, and the quality of the used device, when the access is slow they can happen losses of packages of information or latency in your remittance from one computer to the other (ECHO), what causes flaws and lowers quality of sound. When the device is low quality, problems in the transmission of the voice exists.
In the illustration below, we have a basic example of a telephone IP connection to a telephone IP Service Provider (ITSP) that allows connections of telephone IP or for any fixed or cellular telephone in the world.
